I am board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, educated with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from University of Utah, and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. I have more than 20 years of experience in the medical field.
I take a functional approach to medicine, focusing on the interrelation of physical and emotional health and working to identify the root cause of symptoms. I enjoy long term relationships with my patients and caring for the whole families. I am passionate about education and frequently teach community outreach seminars about various health topics, including suicide prevention and mental health. I also work at the University of Utah as adjunct faculty in the College of Nursing and regularly precept nurse practitioner students in clinic.
In my spare time, you’ll find me on the trails, exploring new places with my family and friends. I combine my love of trails with volunteer work by serving with the Timpanogos Emergency Response Team.
